i have two dishwashers. one is an asko that is >10 years old and has never needing fixing. the other is this dishwasher. which we have had for less than 3 years (but longer than the warranty, conveniently..). it stopped working today, and judging by numerous reviews and questions with issues with the water wall all over the internet.. this is a common problem. it seems everyone with this dishwasher needs to pay someone to come fix it 3 years after they buy it... don't waste your money.

cons: cycle is set to heavy or nothing is coming out clean. paid a high price to have more than 1 cycle. having buttons hidden seemed like a great feature, until you realize in practice that the timer is hidden too, something to consider if you use daily. at 4 years, both racks are rusting out. we have a water softener and the city has excellent water. racks are extremely expensive, not thrilled to be paying half the price of the dishwasher in racks every 4 years. pros: doesn't leak, doesn't backup, and hasn't completely fallen apart. we use ours daily, so the cons are enough to know i'm not going with samsung again, especially since their other products have painted a pretty consistent portrait of poor craftsmanship (bought kitchen apps, washer & dryer, will review others too).

I am very disappointed in this dishwasher ... the dishes come out dirty and soaking wet. There is no drying cycle no matter what options you choose ... something is wrong with the design of this appliance. I wish I could take it back or replace it, but after trying to live with it for just over a year, now it's out of warranty. I've heard from others who have the same issues ... I definitely won't be buying another Samsung dishwasher again.

I have the stainless steel model. This dishwasher is the focal point of my kitchen and is the first thing you see. It's very easy to operate, buttons are hidden which provides a sleek look. The kids love the blue light which matches my other Samsung appliances. I like the adjustable top shelf and the silverware compartments. Everything is spotless and dry after the cycle is complete. *** you must use the dry function which adds about 10-15 minutes on to the cycle. I think rinse aid is supposed to help too. My only complaints are my top drawer keeps sticking and can be hard to pull out, but that could just be mine and the Auto and Normal cycles are very long...at least 3 hrs for the the Auto and at least 2 hrs for the Normal. It does have an express function of 60 minutes that you can choose instead. It is extremely quiet and plays a pleasant song when the dishes are done.

Doesn't have a rinse and hold cycle. Doesn't dry dishes sometimes even though I run the same cycle. It never dries the plastic wear. The bottom dish runs off the tracks consistently with a moderately heavy load The top dish rack seems to be held in place with a guide/railing that is too fragile the rack wobbles all over the place when pushing it in.

Don't bother with this dishwasher. Very disappointed. It didn't even last a year before we had to replace it. Had to wash everything by hand before we put it in the dishwasher. I love how quiet this dishwasher is and how great it looks in our kitchen, but I now have to do twice the work that I had to do before we replaced our 12 year old dishwasher. I wish I had it back. This dishwasher does an extremely poor job of drying. I have to dry most of the dishes myself before I put them away. I also have to wipe the floor now each time I open the door after the cycles ends because the water condensates on the inside of the door and then drips. This is the first time in my life that I have a new dishwasher and I was so excited. Now, I'm just regretful.

Only complaint is it doesn't seem to completely dry all of my dishes and the top rack is a little wobbly. Purchased this dishwasher and used for about 2 weeks and decided to get rid of it as it did a very bad job of washing dishes, even when the machine was 1/2 full. the bottom sprayer design that tracks front to back on a rail seems to be the main issue in lack of cleaning quality. Also, this model does not have heated dry so dishes are wet after the full cycle. Have had Samsung before and we bought this dishwasher along will all new Samsung kitchen appliances...will never buy another Samsung dishwasher.

Nice Quiet Dishwasher

This dishwasher seems to be well built and solid. It's very quiet, except for some reason, when the water empties. My only complaint is with the water inlet. It is a cheap plastic part and when connected to a 3/8 copper tubing, the 3/4 to 3/8" adapter (NOT included) pulled off when I pushed the dishwasher in. This was from the stiffness of the copper tubing. I ended up replacing the copper with a stainless steel line and all went well. I love the fact that I can have a conversation or watch TV while it's running!

Remodeled kitchen and bought all new Samsung appliances. Our last 10 year old dishwasher worked great, but we didn't know how QUIET a dishwasher could be! Yeah! Love the look of the stainless interior. Not sure how I like the controls on the top and hidden while running. I will get used to it. The lights progress as the cycle goes through. The sound at the cycle end is fun. I wish the light color would change once it is clean...Only feature I don't like is that the top rack is a little rickety. When you pull it out, it feels like it is going to fall out-but it won't. Short tines on the bottom are not very useful. Wish they were taller or slanted to better hold cereal bowls. All small things. Overall, dishes get very clean and the unit looks so nice and is so quiet. Highly recommend.

Can barely hear it. Really nice. Only 1 wash, but it did very well. Can't start a 2nd wash. Will call cust service. No light on the start button, so you can't tell if it is in start mode. Big negative. You have to open the door to set the wash cycles and see how much time is left.

The dishwasher has a nice exterior design. The inside is nothing special. The bottom rack is too low; would be better if it had a height adjustment. The drying cycle does not dry plastics unless you use a rinse agent. Overall all though, it cleans well and is very quiet.

I just purchased this dishwasher since mine stopped working. I have never seen such a sexy, sleek appliance! It is beautiful, has the controls hidden on the top of the door (so my grandkids can't mess with them), and is so quiet that I have to press my ear to the door to know if it is running. It has more features than I even knew I needed. The basket on top can be adjusted for higher dishes and the tines holding them in can lie flat if you have large items. Bonus! The controls are easy to use and has a sanitize option (which is good if your have sick kids). The Waterfall process of spraying your dishes is so unique and clever. It surprises me that no one thought of this before, I've only used it a few times, but if I have any issues, I'll update my review.

Great, can not believe how quite this unit is. Have to open the door to check to see if it is working. Hope this remains this way. Simple to load. Paid to have this installed. Have installed hundreds of dws in the pass and this was so simple the way Samsung made the connection I figured this was a waste of installation costs. SO SIMPLE. Wife loves the displays and the lights when complete. Great design.

So quiet and cleans so well!

This dishwasher is not just appliance eye candy! We are so happy with how well it cleans, how quiet it is, the features (including additional dry time, sanitize option and the option to only wash the bottom rack!), as well as the fuctionality of the racks. They can be adjusted in various ways to accommodate what is being washed at the time. We love this dishwasher!

MACHINE ALWAYS SMELLS INSIDE

This machine always remains wet on the inside regardless of the drying cycle selected. We have tried both the normal and the "sanitizing" drying cycle and it still remains wet. We have used a drying agent as the manual directed us and it still stays wet. The only way it will dry out is by leaving the dishwasher door open for about 12 hours after each use. I have only used the machine for 2 weeks and it already smells. We have used the cleaning cycle as directed in the manual and that has not helped. I also contacted the "live chat" which recommended that I hand dry the inside of machine after each use. Am very disappointed with this product.

Just this this washer used it a couple of times and it's been great, alot of the reviews I read had complaints about it not drying but with jet-dry it drys out completely and cleans great.

This is an excellent dishwasher! Sleek, quiet, and does an excellent job of cleaning. We have been very impressed with how much better our old glasses look after running them through this unit. Like new again! It Is easy to set up, runs very quietly and saves on Water, too! Great dishwasher!

Great Dishwasher

Love this dishwasher! Very quiet and the dishes are spotless. Some reviewers complained the plates tend to fall over. We have heavy, stoneware plates and found if I load them facing left, they don't fall over. I've also read complaints about items not being dry .Usually the dishwasher is run at night so I haven't noticed a problem with and the glasses, dishes, flatware etc. not being dry. I've been using the 60 Express + Santize cycles and I know from my previous dishwasher that a rinse agent is very important.

I just purchased the dishwasher a week ago and I have used the dishwasher once and it worked great, looks sharp and cleaned the dishes. But upon using a second time, I got an LC error message for Leak check and there isn't a leak, so I have the service tech coming. Will have to let you know how that goes.....
