I bought this in a package a few years back. It died. After arguing with LG and trying to use the thing app that doesnt work I received a replacement part. Couldnt find a repair man willing to do the job. Apparently the replacement parts are garbage also.

Waste of good money

Bought this unit 5 years ago. Worked fine until 3 days before Christmas when the compressor gave out causing the unit to not cool. Called service right away. 5 days later I finally get a call back from a Tech to set up service. I told them to cancel it as I purchased a replacement refrigerator.

Many dislikes from cheap paint to compressor bad

Even though this is 5 years old the compressor went bad lost all my food had problem getting qualified service from LG even though under warranty still havet settled my claim for food spoilage $250 since August of 2022 eight phone calls claim numbers promised of check so for service for customer service for response time to fix it

Our refrigerator compressor went out under warranty and they couldnt get a repair person. So they offered 1100.00. What good is having a warranty if you wont stand behind it. We will not be buying LG again.

Quit cooling after 3 years

Purchased in 2019. Five months after the extended warranty we purchased expired the fridge and freezer both stopped cooling. It was 11 days from the day it went out until a technician could come fix. Love the fridge and freezer set-up and space. Very inconvenient to go 11 days without the fridge/ freezer.

I liked the features and general operation of this refrigerator for 6 years. Unfortunately I was struck by the dreaded LG compressor failure. The 10-year warranty on the compressor is worthless as it does not cover labor which is the most expensive part of the repair. LG also could not find a repair center for my location. I had to buy a new refrigerator

Great Features but...

We bought our refrigerator 4 years ago. A couple of years later we became aware of the compressor failure issue in many units and the class action suit. It finally happened to us a couple of weeks ago Now we have to wait at least a month for parts and technician availability It is a major hardship. The technician who came to troubleshoot the problem assured us it will not cost us anything for the repair thankfully. Hope LG is able to correct this problem at the factory level so it doesnt happen to anyone else. Other than that we love this refridgerator

I bought this refrigerator slightly over 5 years ago. The compressor failed almost 5 years to the day. Then at approximately 5 years and 2 months of ownership the flap in the French door broke. I am disappointed in the build quality of this fridge. I do not recommend this refrigerator.

Our LG refrigerator is 4 years old the compressor went out. It took two weeks to get an appointment for repair. The compressor is covered under warranty for 5 years. Thankfully parts labor were covered.

This fridge was in our house when we moved in and since that time the black stainless wrap has came off like crazy. The previous home owners had purchased the LG refrigerator dishwasher and microwave all in black stainless within 1 year of us moving in. We were happy to move into a home with new appliances. We have lived here now for almost 3 years. The ice also constantly gets stuck in the main dispenser so we had to stop using it altogether. We had to buy a countertop ice maker. We will never purchase LG appliances again.

Perfect Size for Our Kitchen

We have owned our LG Refrigerator for 3 years now. The compressor stopped working while we were away from home in month 35 of ownership. We had believed that it would last much longer than that. It took 2-3 weeks to get a repair and replacement of the compressor. We had an LG certified tech to do the work because there was little capacity from other local service techs. The LG tech was excellent and helped us much.
